Mission
To train geographers who, in light of the universal principles of geography, can interpret the interaction between the physical and human environment from an analytical perspective, competently utilize spatial technologies (GIS and Remote Sensing), possess high environmental awareness, and adhere to ethical values.
In line with our university's regional development-oriented strategic goals, to conduct original research on the geopolitical border location, climatic transition characteristics, agricultural potential, and socio-cultural structure of Kilis and its surroundings; and to contribute academically to sustainable regional development policies and social welfare by sharing the obtained scientific data with public institutions and local stakeholders.
